We collect personal information you provide directly to us: your name, email address, and phone number through our contact form; your name, email address, and surf level through our surf guide request; and your email address through our newsletter signup. If you use our online booking engine, the information you enter there is submitted directly to our booking provider, LobbyPMS, and is not collected by this website.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our site — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed — through the analytics tools described below.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, send newsletters and marketing communications you sign up for, manage our customer relationships and follow up on leads through our CRM, and understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.

We use the following third-party services to operate this website and manage our customer relationships. Each processes personal information on our behalf, subject to their own privacy and data protection terms:

Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager — website usage analytics. Meta Pixel — advertising analytics for our Facebook/Instagram campaigns. Pipedrive — our customer relationship management (CRM) and email marketing platform; if you contact us, request our surf guide, or sign up for our newsletter, your information may be stored in Pipedrive so we can respond to you and, where you have agreed, send you marketing communications. LeadLovers — a CRM/email marketing platform we have used historically; we are in the process of migrating away from LeadLovers to Pipedrive, and some contact information may still exist there during this transition. LobbyPMS — our online booking engine; a reservation made through our booking page is submitted directly to LobbyPMS and governed by their own privacy practices, not this policy.

Some of these providers (including Pipedrive) may process and store personal information outside of Nicaragua, including in other countries. Where this happens, we rely on contractual safeguards provided by those providers — for example, Pipedrive's Data Processing Agreement includes standard contractual clauses recognized under Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) and Resolução CD/ANPD nº 19/2024 for international data transfers.

Where applicable data protection law (including the LGPD) requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on your consent, given when you submit a form, request our surf guide, or sign up for our newsletter, and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, maintaining customer relationships, and understanding and improving our website through analytics.

Our website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta Pixel when you visit. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit. We do not currently show a cookie consent banner; you can control or block cookies through your browser settings, which may affect some website functionality.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, maintain our customer relationship with you, or as required by applicable law. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter or marketing communications, we keep a record that you opted out so we do not contact you again by mistake.
